Officially from the 1st of February to the 30th November. To ensure animals are “tame” and to maintain a 90% success rate, we only cater for small groups of 3-8 (max 4 hunters). Species offered include: baboon, blesbuck, caracal, cheetah, damara dik-dik, duiker, eland, giraffe, hyena, impala, jackal, klipspringer, kudu, leopard, oryx ostrich, red hartebeest, springbuck, steenbuck, warthog, waterbuck, zebra-burchell, zebra-hartman. Fair chase is of utmost importance to us and our experienced hunting guides, rifle and bow will make the safari an unforgettable experience on Kassandara Ranch. The prime hunting land with varying photography is utilized, thus offering you, the desiring hunter, a wide variety of plains game and excellent trophy selection. Also available are the slaughtering facilities, cold room, guides & hunting vehicles. Bow and rifle hunting Trackers Skillful skinners Personal supervision is ensured Bow Hunting Our hunting areas have an abundance of game that offers a unique opportunity for serious bow hunters. The blinds are built from natural materials from the area and overlook natural water holes. Our trophy quality is exceptional and we take great pride in it. The guides are experienced bow hunters and will guide you to a very satisfactory success rate. Bow hunting is conducted from strategically located pits and elevated blinds, allowing the hunter close access to game for arrow placement. Shots are taken on an average of 20 meters and can be video-recorded by the hunter. Bring your own video equipment along. Weather Warm summers from September to April with temperature ranging from 24 to 36 degrees Celsius (rain normally between November and March). Rather mild winters range from May to August with day temperatures from 15 to 23 degrees Celsius with clear, starry and cold nights.
